Webstudio if open source, portable code and self-hosting matter to you. Webflow if you want a bigger ecosystem and fully managed hosting.

Is Webstudio mature enough for a business site?

For marketing sites, yes. We would not put a member portal on it, and we say so in discovery.

Can we move away from Webstudio later?

Yes. It is open source and the code it produces is yours, which is the reason to choose it over a closed builder.

Who hosts a Webstudio site?

Webstudio's own cloud, or your own hosting such as Cloudflare. Either way the account is in your name.

Can you migrate a Webflow site to Webstudio?

Yes. The visual model is similar, so designs move across cleanly; CMS content and URLs are mapped and redirected as in any migration.
