Vercel: hosting for Next.js and friends.

The hosting platform built by the Next.js team: preview deployments for every change, a global edge, and the serverless functions an application needs. Our audit platform runs there.

Choose Vercel when…

  • A Next.js or React application that needs server rendering and APIs.
  • A workflow where every pull request gets its own preview URL for sign-off.
  • A team that wants deployment handled by the platform rather than a server.

Vercel work we take on.

Deployment pipelines

Git-connected builds, preview environments and environment secrets, set up in your account.

Performance and monitoring

Caching, image optimisation, analytics and alerting configured for the application.

Cost control

Usage reviewed so a traffic spike does not become a surprise invoice.

Proof: audit.kickassonline.com, our website auditing platform, is deployed on Vercel.

Questions about Vercel

Vercel or Cloudflare?

Vercel for Next.js applications and preview-driven teams. Cloudflare for static sites, edge workers and when you already use it for DNS and security. We run both.

Whose account is it?

Yours. We are a team member you can remove, and the billing is in your name.

Can you move our site off Vercel if we need to?

Yes. Next.js runs elsewhere too, and we build without Vercel-only features unless there is a reason, so moving to Cloudflare or a server is routine.

Do you monitor a Vercel deployment?

Yes, under a care plan: uptime checks, error alerts, usage reviews and dependency updates, with the on-call engineer paged if the site goes down.

What happens when traffic spikes?

Vercel scales automatically and bills for it. We set spend limits and alerts in your account so a spike is a notification rather than a surprise.

Other technologies we build on

Tell us what the site has to do, and we will say whether Vercel is the right tool.

Same-day reply with a price and a date for package builds, or a discovery proposal for larger programmes.
