Work Life Balance Policy

Purpose: To foster a healthy balance between professional responsibilities and personal life, recognizing the importance of employee well-being and productivity.

Scope: This policy applies to all employees of KAO.

Policy:

  1. Flexible Working Hours: Employees may have flexible start and end times, subject to business needs, to accommodate personal responsibilities and preferences.
  2. Remote Work Options: Depending on the nature of their role, employees may have the option to work remotely, either on a regular or occasional basis, to better manage work-life balance.
  3. Leave and Vacation Time: Employees are encouraged to utilise their vacation time fully for rest, relaxation, and personal pursuits. Management should ensure that taking leave does not negatively impact employee evaluations.
  4. Family and Personal Commitments: KAO supports employees in fulfilling their family and personal commitments, including parental leave, caregiving leave, and other necessary time off.
  5. Health and Well-being Activities: The company will regularly organize and promote activities that contribute to physical and mental health, such as wellness programs, health seminars, and team-building exercises.
  6. Avoidance of Overwork: Managers are responsible for ensuring that workloads are reasonable and do not consistently require long hours or working outside of normal business hours.
  7. Support Systems: Access to counselling and support services for stress management and personal issues.
